An Italian engineer has developed the world's narrowest car.

30-year-old Andrea Marazzi from Bagnolo Cremasco, a small town 40 kilometres east of Milan, has stunned car enthusiasts with his latest invention - the world's narrowest Fiat Panda, at just 50-centimetres wide.

This is not just a concept, but a full-fledged gasoline-powered vehicle based on the Fiat Panda model.

The main problem, as it turned out, was the windows that did not close during the trip – otherwise the driver would have nowhere to put his hands, plus he should not lean too heavily on pizza, users joke.

开发者坦言最大难题在于无法关闭行驶中的车窗——否则驾驶员将无处安放手臂，网友调侃"还得控制披萨摄入量"。
